Renovation and addition of a master suite to a 1950’s era house built by a former dean of the Washington University School of Architecture. The addition, located in the Warson Woods suburb of St. Louis, was designed to be constructed without the use of heavy equipment to ensure that the densely wooded site was minimally disturbed. The interior was renovated to create better living spaces for the young family and to provide modern amenities, while not loosing the integrity of the original design.
